This jersey fabric is made from ramie, a natural fiber that has been used throughout Asia for centuries.
Ramie fibers are particularly long compared to other types of hemp, giving the fabric its distinctive elegant sheen and beautiful drape.
While ramie is generally known for its stiffness and tendency to fuzz, we have applied a bio-finishing process to create a smooth texture that minimizes any prickly sensation.
It also offers excellent moisture absorption and quick-drying properties, making it a comfortable fabric to wear even during Japan’s humid summers.
