By using a smaller-diameter tubular knitting machine, the body is designed slightly more compact, finishing the piece with a clean impression while retaining a moderate amount of ease.
The tubular construction, with no side seams, forms a smooth silhouette. The hood is deliberately left without a drawstring for a minimal impression. The hood, which stands up naturally, keeps a beautiful form, and the kangaroo pocket adds both a moderate accent and practicality.

The face, middle, and reverse yarns all use a No. 30 two-ply organic cotton compact yarn, knitted at high density over time on a rare tubular knitting machine that survives at Kanekichi Kogyo in Wakayama Prefecture.
It is a fabric that combines the beautiful surface and natural sheen unique to a compact yarn with minimal nap with the plump hand characteristic of tubular knitting.
Packing the stitches to the limit also achieves excellent durability, resisting loss of shape or fuzz even through repeated wear and washing, and retaining its beautiful appearance for years to come.
